(Fort Worth, TX, USA) — HEALTHPOINT, Ltd., a market leader in pharmaceutical products for skin and soft tissues, is pleased to announce the availability of the OASIS Burn Matrix, a product that provides a supportive environment to allow healing of second degree and superficial burns.

An initial launch took place during HEALTHPOINT’S National Sales Meeting in Dallas in March, with nationwide launch this week.

The OASIS Burn Matrix complements the OASIS Wound Matrix line of products marketed and distributed exclusively by HEALTHPOINT and manufactured by Cook Biotech.

The OASIS Burn Matrix was designed with several features specifically for burn patients, including increased thickness of the OASIS Burn Matrix that may allow application for an extended time. As frequency of application decreases, less pain may result since repeated dressing changes are often increasingly painful for burn patients.

“OASIS Burn Matrix sets a new standard for the management of donor sites as well as for second degree and superficial burns,” said Dwayne Dixon, Tissue Management Marketing Director. “This provides a new option for patients suffering the effects of serious burns.”
