OasisŪ is a natural, extracellular matrix used to manage partial and full-thickness wounds; pressure, venous, and chronic vascular ulcers; diabetic ulcers; surgical and trauma wounds; second degree burns; abrasions; and donor sites/grafts.

SIS Technology, on which OasisŪ is based, is a new biomaterial extracted from the submucosal layer of porcine small intestines. The submucosa (found between the mucosal and muscular layers) provides strength to the intestine. Extracted in a manner that removes all cells but leaves the complex matrix intact, the result is a naturally derived, extracellular matrix material that combines remarkable strength and flexible handling.
