Biofarm is a private, limited liability company, established in 1988 by a group of qualified and experienced pharmacists. Biofarm's core business activity is the manufacture of generic and branded generic pharmaceutical preparations, both in the prescription and over-the -counter medicines sectors.
Our main line are cardiovascular and cerebrovascular agents, we also specialise in anti-asthmatics and analgesics.Biofarm is also involved in the distribution of pharmaceutical products through its wholesaling and retail pharmacy division.
Biofarm is investing heavily in the marketing of its products. It employs a field force of twelve medical representatives calling on hospital specialist, general practitioners and retail pharmacists to promote its prescriptions and OTC products. Prescription medicines are also promoted by advertising in the medical press, while OTC medicines are supported by extensive advertising in the media: TV, radio and consumer press.
