Regent-GM is a major independent manufacturer of unbranded or generic medicines and an important contract manufacturer to the pharmaceutical industry. Generic Medicines: Generic medicines are assuming increasing importance in UK medical practice and account for around two-thirds of all NHS prescriptions. This has created strong competition between manufacturers and means that the prices of generic medicines in the UK are amongst the lowest in Europe. Regent GM manufacturing facilities in North-West London are devoted primarily to the production of solid dosage forms although hard capsules are also produced.
