Today, Alpharma's International Pharmaceutical Division (IPD) is a leading generic pharmaceutical business in Europe, operating through wholly-owned subsidiaries such as Cox Pharmaceuticals in the UK, Dumex in Denmark and the Netherlands, Isis in Germany and Jumer Laboratoires in France, to name a few. The company will now rename all its companies and brands to Alpharma, ready for launch in January 2001.
