Progen supplies monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, Elisa tests and immunfluorescence tests for biomedical research and diagnostic use. Research products include antibodies to cytokeratins, cyclins, viral proteins (AAV, Hantavirus), enzymes, lioprotein receptors, and lipoprotein lipase.
The Progen Elisa line features diagnostic test kits for infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases. Progen also markets the Confluolip test kits for lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase and Microfluoral, a quantitative test kit for microalbuminurea.
Progen has an attractive R&D programme and is seeking collaborations to further clinically development of a new test for myocardial ischemic lesions, a test for gastro-intestinal lesions, a testkit for the detection of autoantibodies to calpastatin, and its tools for AAV-based gene therapy.
