Chemi’s mission is “to produce for”, which means that we are a chemical company at the service of other companies, primarily in the pharmaceutical area.
The CHEMI facilities and R&D Laboratories are located in Patrica, in the province of Frosinone, Italy. In 1996 Chemi created a Peptide Unit to enlarge its technology portfolio in the fast growing area of the life science molecules. In August 2000, CHEMI acquired a pharmaceutical fine chemicals plant located in Camaçari, State of Bahia, Brazil.
